DocEnhancer is a free, browser-based utility designed to help users clean, crop, and enhance the visual quality of scanned documents and images. All processing is performed locally on your device.

3. User Responsibilities & Document Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the files you process using DocEnhancer. Our filters mathematically alter the visual appearance of your documents to improve contrast and remove shadows. You must review all enhanced documents for accuracy before using them for official, legal, or professional purposes.

Please be aware that:

• Processing can alter the original appearance of a document, including signatures, stamps, and watermarks.
• Image enhancement cannot recover or restore text or information that is genuinely absent, illegible, or obscured in the original source image.

4. Privacy and Data Handling

As outlined in our Privacy Policy, DocEnhancer processes files entirely within your web browser. We do not upload, store, or view your documents.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

This service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. Service availability, performance, and compatibility with specific devices or browsers are not guaranteed.

DocEnhancer shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, or any errors or inaccuracies in the enhanced documents.
